I'm just praying for this to become as manageable as flu, rather than as lethal as MERS.
Haven't been able to visit any of my mates in the US for more than a year, had to cancel a 10 day hunting trip to South Africa & haven't been more than 20 miles from home since March 2020.
Having said that; Mum's 91 & ain't dead, brother & sister OK, aunt & uncle & families are surviving, so it's not all doom & gloom.

The Covid-19 virus is easier to treat than the flu. The problem is that too many medical folks won't use Ivermectin or hydroxychlorquine as treatment. Ivermectin should be given at the first sign or symptom but here in the states the doctors send people home until the symptoms are severe. The doctors using those drugs are saving lives.
Vitamin D will prevent infection in most folks. The reason obese folks are more suseptive to Covid is that vitamin D is absorbed by fat and not available to the immune system.

Ivermectin? Damn! I think I just gave my horse a dose of that to prevent worms.

Nope.
Sorry but the only proven in clinical trials part of that is in regard to vitamin D & even then, only in that a lack of it can make coronavirus infection more serious, NOT that taking it as a supplement will reduce infection.
It's worth noting that most of these "cures" & other false covid claims have initially been spread throughout social media & elsewhere by agents of the Chinese Communist Party.
Deflection of guilt anyone...?

English Mike, can you believe that the Left tainted and twisted the clinical trials or only shared results of trials that didn't use the correct dosage? I'm serious. I have two people I know positively treated with the proper dosage of hydroxychlorquine.
A Hospital in Detroit had great results from using hydroxychlorquine but was so unmercifully attacked by the left (because Trump suggested using it) that they stopped sharing their results with a letter stating too much politics was involved. Their video has since been blocked.

Some states made it against the law to even prescribe hydroxychlorquine (unbelievable). Some still prescribed it but listed it for other ailments. I talked to my pharmacist and he told me they fill orders for hydroxychlorquine all the time here in TX just nobody is broadcasting that they are doing it.

It may be hard to determine what is the truth but without the web, we wouldn't even have a glimpse of what is really happening.

Can't even go to the safest places like the outdoor range for recoil therapy.
