I grew up in an era where if Tommy had the mumps your mother had you visit him so you could get the mumps while you were young. I have had the mumps, chicken pox, Measles and a few others that I can't remember. Then I joined the Navy and had all of those shots and an unknown number of others. When I was in for 12 years I had to get a series of 12 shots in 4 days (Two sore arms) and a good drunk all was fine.

Same here mate…I’m definitely not an anti-vaxer, but I believe that our body will eventually form natural antibodies.

Also, again like you, when I first joined the Army, I had more immunisations than can remember (I must check my IHC) and felt like a pin cushion. Then there was the daily dose of anti-malaria drugs when I was in Asia…nope, not an anti-vaxer, I simply don’t trust these vaccines.

Got me...Couldn't find it in the dictionary.

I live out in the country. The nearest city (?) is Ava. Population 3000 if I'm not in town. I have, for years, dealt with few people. Just my quad music, loading bench, one horse, one wife, two dogs, my GUNs and Larry and his.

As of last week 50% of the US was "fully vaccinated", and we had the highest number of active cases yet seen.

The biggest problem I see is that this whole thing has been so politicized that we can't get accurate information.

I was involved in a COVID discussion with some teachers and high school students this past weekend. There was a rash of COVID infections when TX schools started with 126,000 students cases in 6 weeks; 40,000 the week before last and 26,000 last week so they are hoping it it coming down.

Back to the discussion, they all have had COVID this school year. They said it was a scramble at school with cases the first couple of weeks but didn't think it was a big deal any more. It made me think that in person learning was the best thing Texas could do for these young people and their long-term health. Yes there have been some students that had bad cases of COVID and children's hospitals have higher case loads. However, this younger populations has developed natural immunity that will be much better for their long-term health than having the vaccine (my opinion). Time will tell but I think this may be the best thing that could have happen for our future.

Vaccine mandates don't make much sense. If you are fully vaccinated, a person can still transmit COVID and become ill with COVID just like a person that is unvaccinated.

So true Slim, which is a good part of the reason why I simply do not trust these so-called vaccines.

Also, it would be great if we knew who to trust when diatribes are published…from both sides. They all have an agenda and we are simply pawns in a massive game of financial chess.

California is shutting down restaurants for not checking the vaccination cards of customers that eat in their restaurants. Only vaccinated individuals are allowed to eat inside. OMG, this situation is out of control and totalitarian.

loke.....watch T.V. series green arrow......script is similar to some of what is being bandied around now.
one of our journos did a week long experiment,he looked up as much as he could on jab side effects,by day 3 all the computor robots/algaryhthem thingies were feeding him more and more of the same outragous stuff...the big black dog reared its ugly head....... look for and at bad stuff for long enough and depression sets in...there is boogy man behind every bush and tree.
