Finally got my bird after four days of hunting and two close calls. Nice tom 21lb 11in beard 1 in hooks wing feathers are all worn down from strutting. Good day hunting.

21lb sounds like a decent bird,enjoy the eating.

Those birds are call shy! I got into the field at 0415 and uncased ABOUT 0500
and they started gobbling about that time and I called only 3 times for the next 70 minutes and only softly after the choir had sang. I first saw him below me at about 125 yards on the road in the pasture coming up to the gravel pit along the ridge and he walked right up the trail/road to within 20 yards of me and I was in the prone by this time and when he lifted his head to get a better look at me I took his picture with a Winchester 2 3/4in #5 magnum turkey load. I really like these loads
