Did a search and not much about gun safes. I've used Liberty but actually thinking about getting a smaller one to fit in my place now (smaller than 42") and looking into Heritage.

What are some that you guys have and any bad stories, like doors falling off or rusting problems? Yeah, 6 years ago a guy told me his door fell off his Remington safe and asked where to call and ship it. Although, he did buy it from the store i worked at, less than a year prior, my boss just gave him an even exchange on a real nice (and bigger) Browning Shocked

Indeed, it looked like one of the worse manufacturing defect/flaw i'd seen in my life.....i would have taken it a lot worse than that guy did if my safe door fell off! Shooting

I've got an AMSEC. American Security is the full name I believe. They are nice units. I've been very pleased with mine. Got it through a local gun dealer and it was quite reasonable in price.

I started out with a Liberty 35 and added a Champion 25. Both are excellent units. Hope this helps. All the best...

American Security about 15 years old. Because I have been moving a lot in my life (US Navy and SupSalv Navy) mine is a little chipped but working very good... Door fell off? Looking at mine the welds would have had to fail, big time...

I have a Liberty and the only thing wrong with it..... Ain't big E-Nuf! Of course that is my fault for not buying the biggest one available. I don't know about other companies warranties but Liberty has a great warranty.

I have a Remington 48 gun safe, its made by Liberty (they are made locally to me). It was actually a Christmas present from my dad... got it on a "scratch and dent" sale (had a small scratch on a back corner, totally non-visible). Good stuff

Perfect for storing firearms and ammunition of all kinds, gun safes are a great way to keep your items secure and protect yourself from burglary and misuse. INKAS® Safe Manufacturing offers two lines of gun safes, the Jupiter and Saturn models, in order to help you choose the right safe to fit your needs. Both models are UL certified using heavy-duty construction with high-strength steel plates and offer protection from almost any burglary attack.

To make sure you find the one that’s right for you, consider the number and type of firearms you need to protect and what type of threat you are eliminating. You should look for a safe that has more space than you currently need as collections tend to grow over time. Gun safes also vary in the amount of fire protection they provide, the metal thickness, the level of threat protection, and the locking mechanisms, all of which are important factors to compare.

Hm, close to spam, but very pertinent to us and our needs.

It is amazing how an old post seems to come alive after so many years. It makes me feel younger. Take care. All the best...

Didn't make me feel any younger, but then again, Gil, I've always thought you were a lucky guy!
