This is a site with many interested in hunting so I will assume alot of us go fishing
What are your ideas on getting the right combination of fishing time and relaxing time away from the people that cause you stress ??
I myself use one of thouse camping chairs that open up to sleep while sitting in and pretending to be fishing with my line and some bait in the water
I find sleeping increases the amount of fish I get vs. the amount of work I put in. I wake up and without doing much I reel in a fish doesnt get better then that.
What do you do ??

I'm going fishing every day this week Then in the warmer months.......i won't be anywhere to be found because i do even more fishing.....then in the fall the salmon and brown run so i'll be out casting a fly in the surf (michigan's surf).
I may skip big game hunting this year, i don't know yet.....well, maybe a few weekends i'll go hunting but this is probably going to be a big fishing year for me
AND I SHALL DONATE ALL MY LEFTOVERS (bones and guts) TO 1895ss

You guys are doing it wrong if there is time to sleep... I'm used to pulling in 30 trout in an hour (seriously). My best ever record was 72 4-8lb salmon in 2 hours... that my friends was a CRAZY day.
Sadly winter was goofy this year and we never got good safe ice on alot of lakes so I didnt get to do any ice fishing. I'm hoping the thin sheet thats did form up comes off soon and we can get the boat out. I'm hungery for some good fresh trout (cutts are the best followed by winter/spring rainbows then brookies)

Dallan,
We got limits of 5 combined trout and salmon a day here. For me there is plenty of time to sleep and still get my limit in a day
I just fished as a matter of fact cleaning up my small tackle box when I posted this originial topic I've got just enough to be successful fishing almost anything I can think of.

I've fished that place to death in the past... I just cant bring myself to stop there anymore due to the slotlimits. I personally believe that too many fish die in the release so I dont even bother. What they need to do in that place is just make it a 1 fish limit and be done with it. People can catch 1 and be done... I'm tired of catching 30-40 fish in the 18-23" range and having to throw them all back. I'd rather go somewhere else where my kid can keep at least something.
Current Creek is very fun for kids and only a short drive past the berry.

Eat alot of fish, catch alot of fish, fish alot. Most fishing is done out of a boat. Catch mostly walleyes and northerns.-tr

Howdy I use to do a lot of salt water fishing but lost the boat in the divorce so do a little fresh water fishing until I can aford another boat. Here's a couple pics of Black Drums caught a few years back first one was 77lbs and I think the other was 58lbs
