Yep being a registered gun owner in oz means you're in the crimetrac system with the pedophiles, drug dealers, murderers and wife beaters.
And yet we have to pass the police check to purchase a firearm, unlike the scum who don't pass the police check.

Would you register your guns or yourself as a gun owner if you lived in Hawaii? I wouldn't. How do they know who should register? How are they going to get a search warrant to check your home for guns?
They have to have sworn testimony or, at the very least, probable cause for a search.
I wouldn't volunteer information relating to a breach of my God given (natural) rights. It is an unlawful act!
When they legislate that dolphins can't defend themselves against sharks do you think the dolphins will register? The "law" is meaningless.

The "law" is meaningless.
Said the man who has a constitution that gives him "rights".
Over here we have permissions revokeable at political whim.
To disobey the law as it was shoved up our bum in the 1996 gun buy back was indefensible, you got charged, gaoled, lost your guns and most of your and your families assets defending yourself. You got less for murder.
Unless you were a criminal who just ignored the law and carried on business as usual.
20 years down the track and I'm still pissed off.

Only if you buy through a dealer and even then... if he is a believer in God given or natural rights...
To the Aussies:
The constitution doesn't give us our rights. God gave them to all beings on earth. Even an Oak tree can make a poison that kills insect attackers. Tell me that you have at least the rights of an Oak tree...
You see every plant and animal on earth has the right and potential to defend itself. Men do too, whether their government want to allow it or not.
