their company won my seal of approval when I saw their statement of intent on website....
they have good reloading data site which is easy to use as third source of info when checking a load.

thanks for letting us know, hunterjoe. Elvis, you are right. Their website is the best and I use it all the time for checking load data.

That stuff is so overpriced for what it its. Its FILTHY when shot... I got talked into it as a miracle cure to fouling. BS... 2 shots w/o cleaning and groups wander. 3 shots, and a patch comes out completely black and caked.
Its not even a pound... for almost $50. I'm back to pyro with a patch between shots (when hunting, I keep a dozen or so patches lightly damp with windex in a ziplock bag, its easy to grab one out and run it through the barrel.
Anywho, it will be interesting to see if the price changes much.

Different "bottles" for the same powder is common. Hodgdon sells Winchester powders and their Hodgdon powders separately even though the same powders are used in both brands. W231 and HP38 are the same powder as are W296 and H110 and W760 and H414.
Twin powders under separate labels are kept because of brand familiarity / preference. Why lose customers over a label?

I don't think ADI are owned by Hodgdon. They make powder for them, but are owned by Thales Australia. Separate company if I'm not mistaken.

I didn't realize this. Just went to their database and sure enough the W760 and H414 loads are the same .... and I've been using these two powders for years thinking they were different.

Thales make it for Hodgdon.
I have heard that Hodgdon have never made any powder themselves, but bought in powder and sold it.
IIRC they started post ww2 repurposing surplus munitions into sporting rifle powders.
