I read an article recently about Ben Carson found it interesting to note that many young blacks do, or did, admire him until they found out that he is relatively "conservative". Then they were asking what "went wrong" with him. Obviously their ignorance (for lack of a better word) caused them to fail to understand that the very same principles that made him a success ARE "conservative".

Pumpkin you are so spot-on. Ben Carson said, "If you don't have anything useful to say then you attack people. If you feel that your house of cards has been discovered and is starting to come unraveled, you become very desperate. Intelligent people tend to talk about the facts. They don't sit around and call each other names. That's what you can find on a third grade playground." To me he sounds like a Native, easy speaking, quiet and wise. He's a person anyone can relate to and talk to.

This man has come up from nothing in Detroit, the Democrats have nothing on him, they can't touch him, he should be every man's inspiration and is everything the Democrats don't want other minorities to hear, he's a threat and the ethically and morally and intellectually bankrupt civil rights coalition of the Democratic party intend to destroy him and anyone else that comes along with or illustrates a route to success, productivity, contentment, and citizenship that African Americans are told is not possible in this racist slave state known as the United States.

So there.......but he'll never win and I say that because most likely he will only come across as tame and weak and no strength to handle the wickedness of the political world. We can only thank our media for their presentations (backed by the Democrat party) or lack of. He is truly a great man and there have been others beat into the earth because they disagree with them. We're going to wake up some day and say "how did we get here" and you and I know what happened. Fundamental Transformation....Hope and Change....and we know who got us there...need I say more...

Suz

PS just thought of something...Ben Carson should credit the Democratic party for making him a success....getting elected on a Democrat ticket he should then go for the Hope and Change scenario and royally screw the whole mess back into what it should be while uplifting and encouraging, strengthening our morals and freedoms and sort of taking the wedding vows again of the Constitution and reinvigorating our fore father's dreams. The Democrats won't even know what hit them because Ben has such a way with words. Most people agree with what he says (when they don't know who he is). I've tested several Democrats that I know and they agree with the ideas, until you tell them the ideas came from Republicans.

I misspoke earlier when I said Dr. Carson should be a role model for young blacks, I should have said he is a great role model for all young Americans. I do however fear he will be painted as too evangelical to be President. Religion has been demonized and Dr. Carson is nothing if not a religious man. While it's a positive thing in my book, others will certainly be turned away by it. That's a shame because this country could use some faith, especially after losing so much hope and heading over the cliff by the change. Obama missed a huge opportunity in not using his position to help put an end to racial tensions in this country. He instead chose to make political hay by his divisiveness.

That is the Muslim radicals way. Stay hidden while you divide and conquer. We now have more divisions in the USA than we have ever had before and the divisions have not been so deep in a very long time.
