I don't understand the folks who claim they are getting "free" health care when they then tell you how much income tax they have to pay...

What's to like? At least for me (a single person) I chose to stay with my original medical coverage because the subsidized offering (which I qualified for) had a higher deductible, higher co-pay and less actual coverage. In other words I would be paying more and getting less. All coverage I've seen from current insurance companies have changed for the worse, across the board in order for them to comply with Obama's ideas of health coverage they were forced to change this way.

If you don't get coverage then you are taxed (more of a fine, if you ask me, but they only got away with it legally by calling it a tax). The government can't force you to get coverage but they can tax you for something you don't have and don't want. Originally Obama said it was going to cut our bills by $2500/person, I don't see any less amount, mine is higher by at least $100/month.

Companies are reducing employee work time to part time so they don't have to offer coverage. The youngest payers are supposed to subsidize the older payers by paying for coverage they don't need.

It goes on and on, but I won't

Suz
