Take it easy mate. The convalescing is a pain in the butt, literally, but it is good for your knee mate.

You hurry up and get good and mobile again mate...them critters out there will get bored without you keeping them on their toes.

OK enough is enough!!! I have never been so bored that I wouoldn't change the channel because there would be another boring show on.

Stairs are still not my friend so if I go to the reloading rood I better plan on being there for a long time.

I am going to try to get into the fish house tommorrow before I lose my mind.

You were too late there Bushy. She already had him down and hog tied before he knew it. Now lets all bow our head and pray that this might too also happen to us. ROFL

Vince,

The CROP-EE is a type of sunfish. They are not native to this part of the US but the local Fish and Game dept. does stock them in local waters. Mostly the Black Crappie, not the White Crappie. Some people/regions do indeed call them CRAP-EE, so both pronounciations are considered correct. But around here it was always CROP-EE. Nicknames of them apparently include: Papermouths, strawberry bass, speckled bass or specks, speckled perch, calico bass, sac-a-lait and Oswego bass.

They were my grandfathers favorite fish to eat. He couldn't get enough of 'em.

Blame Canada!

From Wikipedia:
"The common name (also spelled croppie or crappé), derives from the Canadian French crapet, which refers to many different fishes of the sunfish family"
