Another year passed.
Guys RUOK?

This year I have travelled twice overseas and been to a few different parts of Australia.
Somehow the leatherwork groups heard of me and asked to run classes for knife sharpening. In fact right now I am in a country town in Victoria for one of those class.
My youngest daughter took a year off and travel the world backpacking alone, she is expected to be back home next week.
So far I am enjoying this re tirement gig immensely

Watch out mate…that work will creep up on ya and before you know it, you’ll be busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest, or a one armed bricklayer in Baghdad. Very Happy Very Happy Laughing Laughing

Back into work after 8 glorious weeks off, twisted my jolly knee and a week later its better but still not up to much serious stuff... managing OK at work.. but might be time (wife says past time) to visit physio and see what story is,maybe a bit of strapping might help heal things faster...

Ya silly bugger…look after your knees. It’s surprising how much we need and rely on them to keep us mobile.

Yet another year passed.
Guys, RUOK?

Here in Sydney my family and I are generally good.
The youngest daughter has came back from her year long backpacking trip around most of the world (phew the worries are over), the elder daughter is happily working and dating Rolling Eyes and SWMBO still works at the Airport.
Yours truly is still pottering around in the mancave.

Personally, over the last year, I have travelled to Cambodia to tour the country by motorbike, also visited China again after COVID to go to the Shaolin Temple, and visited the Terracotta warriors (a few bucket list ticked). Towards October I would again to to China to do a cruise in the Yangtze River, and in November I would ride the Ha Giang Loop in Vietnam (rated as one of the world most wonderous ride).

I am happy and healthy, losing over 20 kg in the last 8 years, and am now pretty close to what I weight when I was in my 20s.

I hope you guys are Ok.
Remember, you got a friend in me.
Any time you need to talk, I would be available.

Doing ok here mate, al, things considered. Good to hear your daughter is home safely. Our youngest daughter (almost 34 now) does the same, so I know your angst when she is away.

WOW, I wish I had the wherewithal to trip around like you do mate, but I simply can’t afford to travel like you. Well done on your weight loss too…it is evident and you look great…now if only I can do the same thing.

Made I actually almost never out of pocket from my trips, beside living on the cheap overseas Rolling Eyes , I simply opened my slanted eyes and see if I can acquire some trinkets to peddle back home Very Happy
I am glad to say that most of the time my investments paid off handsomely.
One day any one you might want to come with me and see what I meant.
