Born a redneck, raised a redneck and a redneck now by choice. As Jr said, "If you ain't into that I don't give a damn." Best, Ed |

I stick out pretty badly here. Jeans, boots etc....don't own a pair of 'sneakers' or soft shoes, all my footwear is leather. It's what I am and who I am. I gravitate towards 'normal' people that speak my language (ENGLISH!!!) and share my ideals. (just like you guys). I dont have a computer, a cell phone...and if hunting wasn't on cable I wouldn't have that either. I like steel and oil and gas and things that go boom. Not shite run by batteries, electricity or the interweb chat-room group hugggers seeking strangers approval. My truck has some dents but it's serviced a lot and runs like a top and it's quiet. The tires are always dirty, never 'amor-all'ed' and they are the correct size, not 50 sizes too big. It sees a dirt road every weekend and usually has something bleeding, heavy or broken in the back. I listen to both kinds of music too....country and western. Not gangstah wrap of whatever the hell you call that stuff... in fact if I can hear your music over mine and I don't like it, ya get a one finger wave as you are obvioulsy starving for attention and making up for some inadiquacy. So- call me a redneck and I'll take it as a compliment. Push the issue and you better smile when ya say it. |
