That's pretty much how I feel about it ever since they changed the rules allowing a certain company access to the sport!!!
I do still however raise a beer to the Hendricks teams and all their affiliates!!!

#71: Re: Where's everybody? Author: Dimitri, Posted: Sat Sep 12, 2009 9:06 pm ---- Yes but Toyota's dont make cars or trucks, they generally make a box with a go-cart engine in it.
The Toyota's Supra (replaced their previous GT model) produces a mere 320HP while the Ford's Shelby Mustang can be had with 540HP.
Toyota is considering reintroducing the Supra but my point is, even if the Supra was still for sale, one can go out and buy a much faster car for about the same costs from a domestic company then buying a Toyota.
Problem with NASCAR today (which I must admit I never did see the "old" NASCAR) is that in the past you could ruin the car and go to a dealer and make up another car to race without changing everything but the shell, today just about everything in each car is changed to increase performance. Only ever seen clips of the old races, but what I hear from older fans who complain about this I can see their point.
