Oh it is an addiction. That's for sure. And I do collect cases that I don't have firearms for with the hope of owning them in the future. In particular .270 (for a friend), .45 LC and .40 S&W. I am a professed "Brass Rat". You will find me in amongst other shooters on my hands and knees picking up their brass (with their permission of course) while it's still hot. I have no pride left.. Embarassed .. Unfortunately or fortunately there is no cure, no halfway house and no drug to help you ween off reloading and brass collecting.

No offence taken. Just correcting a minor error... Very Happy

I am with Bushy, I can be found on my hands and knees at the range picking up brass (with permission). I am not rich, so I reload everything I can.
I agree with a lot of the posts here. Just wanted to say: one of the reasons the Republican Party has taken such a downturn is because the Democrats learned that they could not get elected claiming to be Democrats, so they switched sides and got elected not on Principles but on party line. We need to do better at weeding out the candidates at the state level. The power is in the Congress.

We attempted the boycott route with the Conoco and Philips pertroleums for allowing the police to check employee vehicles in their parking lots for firearms. It did not seem to make any impact. I would join a boycott for the reasons stated even if it doesn't work, in hopes it would send a signal.

So, is this what I have to look forward to in the future? Going from a great interest in my youth for arse, to a great interest in my middle age for brarse?

Hmmmmm.......

CLIQUE777,

Ask Bushy to teach you how to add the funny faces, so you won't be misunderstood when you are talking in jest. We joke around so much, with some pretty serious subjects, that the fur sometimes flies like a cat fight, before we all cool off! (just double click on the funny faces on the left and even though it doesn't appear that they have copied over to your letter, they have). You'll find that we goof-off a lot. Poke

I just learnt how to do that myself! Fart

Thank you Cary. I was being wry. I thought it was a pretty good joke between old guys. And I hope ya'll don't mind me using that sort of expression. Actually, "old guys" is probably this countries only hope. 30 years of MTV has worked on the younger generations.

Let's get this started now!!

Department of the Interior Extends Deadline for Comments Regarding Right-to-Carry in National Parks and Wildlife Refuges Until August 8. Gun owners, Right-to-Carry permit holders, and all Second Amendment supporters must deluge the Department of the Interior with comments in support of this proposal! The new deadline for submitting comments is August 8, 2008.
