Thats a great idea Vince, and with the huge variety of pouches on the "Tactical" market today I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find something that would work. I know for a fact that slinging a rifle with bipod attached isn't very comfortable, or you can sling it barrel down but then the bipod can catch on things; if you can remove it for the trek back to camp it's one less thing to mess with.
