Damn, I'm really sorry to hear that Crackshot....you hang in there mate. I can understand you being scared, but as Joe said, they can achieve wonders these days. Had a mate some years ago had a quadruple bypass and he came out of it fitter than a mallee bull. Worst part was he got his old drive back again and shot the pants off us all on the range. Very Happy Laughing

My thoughts are with you mate and I expect to hear from you in a very short time. Very Happy Very Happy

Cheers, Vince

Crackshot,
It is Thursday and a word about surgery to help ease your mind. I have had 3 major surgeries in the past two years, all went well. I have had back, and heart surgery and a shoulder rebuilt.

The cutters today have the process down pat. Yes, they do have problems once in a while, but that is now the rare exception rather than the rule. Were I you I would be more concerned about the wake up. They do not allow you to lay around anymore. I was up and doing laps around the floor in hours after every prochedure.

Best of luck and follow the outline of exercise, push yourself, but do not over do. You will be up and around in no time, feeling great, wondering why you did not do the surgery before. Smile

You know what I love about this site.....we are all conversing about the cost of reloading components....having a bit of a joke....then one of us mentions that he has to undergo surgery for a problem that has the potential to be nasty and that he is extremely scared.

That is all it took for everyone to forget the original thread and show support by reassuring our mate that he will be okay; that they are praying for his successful and swift recovery.

Each and every one of us....in the majority of cases people who do not know one another personally.... rally to support one of us in a time of worry or need. This is awe-inspiring, humbling. I am proud to say that I am a member of this fraternity. It humbles me to stand in the company of people such as those that are members here.

In addition to this there are many here who are prepared to help others simply because we share a common interest.

Just imagine how great this world would be if everyone in it shared the same cameraderie as do those of us who frequent HuntingNut.
Stand proud....assured in the knowledge that you are all good people that I for one am extremely proud to call friend or mate.
Salute Cheers Worship

OK, thats it......I've said what I feel....back onto topic now. Very Happy

What Joe said...Expect to hear from you in a few days...If it's any consolation...I'm scared anytime I have to see a doctor, especially dentists...

Thanks Missus Crackshot....its great to hear that the old fella is doing okay. He is obviously as stubborn as I thought. I support what both Joe and Bushy have said.

Please tell him to hurry up and get better so we can go back to berating him and laughing at his posts. Very Happy

Crackshot, It has been my experience that you just can't get well in a hospital! People just won't leave you alone... The sooner you get home, the faster the healing begins. I do everything the doctor says so I can get the H.... out of there. I always find it hard but I know I have to do it to get out of the hospital to get home! I'm still with you buddy and I am happy to see that God answered all of our prayers.
