I'm on an AR roll (or I'm out of control!). This one is in .350 Legend. Aero Precision receiver, 18" Shaw barrel, Magpul stock/handguard, Seekins adjustable gas block, ERGO grip, Kaw Valley linear compensator, Burris MTAC scope and mount.

Keep in mind that my parts buying for these things was really spaced out, I think over 2 years.

I think I need to switch to something less expensive. Maybe finger painting.

It’s not doing my head in...it’s making me very frustrated and sad Sad that we aren’t allowed to own these toys of infinite beauty and joy.

Mike...I notice that the magazine seems a bit short. NC does not allow larger capacity magazines?

By The Way...Finger painting is quite messy.

Normal capacity magazines are legal in NC, I have 30s around here for other guns. That one is a 5 shot for hunting. I also have some 20s for the .350 and those are the highest capacity I've found yet. I understand that regular 5.56 mags won't work with the .350 Legend (straight case) but that you can modify 30 round P-Mags for it. I haven't looked in to that yet.

Pete, haven't even shot it yet. When I retired I thought I'd have time to go to the range... I've become a collector instead of a shooter. Sad

I'm planning to try it on deer this year so I better get to it. I bought a box of Hornady 165 FTX loads to get things started and a box of the same bullet for handloading. I'm going to try Lil'Gun powder first.

From things I've seen online it looks like the .350 Legend can have some problems in the AR, particularly failures to feed. Guess I'll find out.

Pumpkin ,,, From what I gather Scratch on reading ,,,, The feed problem , some-what like the FN-FAL , has more to do with the feed lips of the magazine. . of-course a little polishing of the feed ramp doesn't hurt..

Been thinking about this round Scratch , The 350 legend is larger dia. and more energy but similar to the old Win. 1907 .351SL ,what I kilt my first deer with back in 1961 ,man that's a long time ago.....

Little history The gun belonged to one of my great-uncles ,cavalry fought Ponco Villa , made in 1918 serial number. Cheers

Pete, my Grandfather was chasing Pancho Villa too! NC National Guard. Then he went to Europe, 42nd Infantry division. The green/yellow/black ribbon on Grandfather's uniform jacket is the Mexican Campaign ribbon.

Don't know what division my G-uncle was in , after a horse threw him , was then sent to Europe, .
