Sad to say that we have to put our 8 years old dog to sleep last night.
She developed a very malignant autoimmune dysfunction - somewhat like leukemia and by the time we found out it is too late to do anything.

She joined our family on 2011
She brought happiness
She brought loyalty
She brought patience
She is missed

We are shattered.

As mentioned on FB mate...I'm really sorry to hear that you have lost a much loved member of your family. As the others have said...it's a hard decision to make and we've all been there...doesn't make it anuy easier though.

Thank you all for your kind words.
Yes I think we would be ok eventually.
Right now the emotion is a bit raw and sad.

Just a few months ago I lost my brother in law due to cancer, and now my dog.
Well.. cancer sux indeed.

Mate you have my deepest most heart felt sympathy...... Ive put down a few of my four footed buddies and it doesnt get easier to do.
place your wee pal somewhere special and sit and spend a little time with them when you have a mind to do so,remember the good times and the chewed up slippers, the poop on the carpets and all the wet spots too.... they bring us so much joy and love asking only a feed and a pat in return.
the neighbourhood cats will be looking over thier shoulders wondering where the wee one is too.
take care Mate.
