I was [successfully] hunting doves with that double.

Burnin' off horse manure isn't all that bad. It's just partialy used hay. Now cow manure is a different story.

Now that is the first time I've heard someone say that there was any real difference between bull@$#/ and horse@$#/.

Received the following tonight from our mate Aloys...

Vince,

I know you're good with this...
and because some like to see pictures:
and I just want to show that I don't only shoot rabbits and doves Smile

enclosed a picture of the last roebuck I shot. (by the way: that's my "varmint-rifle": a Parker Hale in 7 mm RM spitting Barnes lead-free pills...)

Maybe put it in Stovey's "dove-thread", together with the other pictures of the results of yesterday evening Smile

Have fun.

Aloys

Vince,

and something to tease Stovey a little Smile

"no hulls, no litter, just air... no doves but some rabbits Smile "

Aloys

And just to show that we have a little artistic flair (bottom 2 pics)...

up or down, what's best?

I dunno about teasing Stovey mate...but you are certainly teasing me...there isn't a rabbit to be seen on my usual hunting property. Normally there are hundreds.

And I was already prepairing to be banned here....
I'm glad you like it.

Now when Suz does one of her special danses on your name spelled with rabbits...
then:
or it's going to rain,
or the Great Manitou will send you more game than Elvira can handle...

SJ, I too have a horse, but no cows. But I gave you an example on how it can be done...

Man that's a lot of Hasenpfeffer!!! You know how many miles I'd have to hike to get that many in one deal? 5 or 6 pairs of boots!

I should use that as my AVATAR....still impressed. You guys have these things coming out of the woodwork or what Aloy?
