Here's "POLITICAL CORRECTNESS" - a Muslim buys eleven acres of land next to a pig farm (a family farm that has been in Houston a long time) and NOW WANTS THE PIG FARMER TO LEAVE!!?? That takes a lot of nerve! So what's the pig farmer's response to that..... PIG RACES DURING FRIDAY NIGHT PRAYERS!!
The clip is funny - even the news crew is laughing.

many years ago when I was still living in southern Illinois a developer built an upscale subdivision just about a mile from a 130 year old family owned 1000 head hog farm operation. After a couple years of smelling the delectable stench of the hog farm in the summer time, the snooty well to do people in the upscaled neighbor hood got together and forced the hog farm to be shut down. The farmer lost everything. So as you can see, there is always someone who wants to move to an established area and change everyone else to fit their wants and needs.
These people knew there was a hog farm there, they had to drive right past it to get to the subdivision. There was a huge sign out by the road saying its a large old family hog operation. Even had a big silhouette of a Duroc boar with huge testicles hanging out the backside of it staring them right in the face every time they drove by. But still they moved in, and then used their wealth and influence to force out the 130 year old family farmer. Just not right if you ask me. I think the real vile stench was in the subdivision , not the hog farm. But I'm bias toward the pigs. I started working on a 700 head hog farm at the age of 9, and didnt leave until I was 18. And let me tell you, from my experience that hogs are not nearly as smart as some say they are, but they are often much smarter and much better to be around than many people.

Too many stories of idiots moving into neighborhoods without thinking about the original neighbors. Goes to show common sense is really lacking in todays world.
Is betting on pig races illegal in Texas?

the same has happened over here with drag strips people shift in then start moaning and try to get the neighbours shifted. those pig races are a hoot a great call on the farmers part.

We had a similar situation down under a few years ago. The idiot brigade wanted to close the Sydney airport down because of the noise, terrible grumblings in the media and parliament. The airport had been there since they started flying in and out of Sydney. Some developers had jammed housed under the already established flight paths, then whinged about the noise. So all us generous tax payers in Australia all had to foot the bill for soundproofing thousands of houses. Cost us a bundle, and they still havent finished the job.

What if a few (a hundred or so) were to [accidently] escape onto the ajacent land owned by the muslims? Would that solve a few problems. Just saying....

That's awesome! I add night MX races to the bill as well..get the noise level up a few notches. Don't forget the stadium lighting pointed in their direction left on overnight every night w/ PA's cranking out death metal music w/ the National Anthem between each song.

I just dont get it. Why would someone knowingly move in, and then try to change the area to suit them. Why not move to an area that suits you and just be happy? Its like when people marry thinking they can change the other person to be someone they want. It just never works out for all involved.
I grew up in southern illinois along the Mississippi river, and across the river in Missouri ( where i live now) there was a drag strip and stock car raceway. Still is in fact. Anyway, even though it was miles away and across a river, at night you could hear the roar of the race cars clear as day. Also heard the tugboats and trains , the bull frogs and crickets. Thats just part of living in the country. You gotta love it. I know I did and still do. But I dont know if I would buy property next to a drag strip. But , many buy homes by airports, then complain about the noise and usually get compensated for it. Maybe that is what started the move in and whine trend we are seeing these days?
Speaking of living by the airports, one of my favorite Aussie movies is " The Castle" Im sure you've seen it Elvis...
and one of my worst memories of all my visits down under, was being tricked into eating Vegemite!! My Ex use to eat it all the time, and it smells so much like BJ catfish bait, I actually tried it and it worked great!! I used some bread and Vegemite, and was catching catfish and carp right and left with it! Hard to get here in the states now though , and BJ bait is cheaper anyway. lol

My brother bought a house close to the Minneapolis airport 20 years ago and he liked the planes flying over head. About 8 years ago newer residence started to complain so much when the airport wanted to expand, the airport and city agreed to soundproof houses in the area. They spent 80k of tax payer money on my brothers house. Windows, Siding, Roofing, Heat and AC , in house air filters , etc... He cant really hear the planes anymore , and it increased the value of the house, on the tax payer. Personally, I think it was a waste of tax payer money. They should move if they dont like it. THey moved in when the airport was there and knew what it was.
As for Sydney, one of my top 5 favorite cities in the world Ive been too. God I loved it there. Spent a month there once. A little crowed for me, Id probably like t live out by the blue mountains though, but for a city its the best there is . I think.. But I loved Surfers Paradise too, but thats not really a city per say. But Id be happy with living at the end of the airport if I could live in Sydney. My Ex's unlce is on the board at Wespac, and her cousin has a apartment right on the harbor front. Wonderful places to spend time at.

Nah mate you dont want to live anywhere east of the blue mountains these days. Full of deadbeat city dwellers, they really are a different species there. Was down there last week to pick up a supply of 22lr ammo and couldnt get out of the place quick enough, and I was only on the outer edge of the place.
Gods country doesnt start until you are at least 100km (60 miles) west. Luckily I'm about 500 km west
