So I bought a bike today, as did the girlfriend, and well, we were biking on the Don Valley (big parkway about a 8km bike ride I think), and as I was passing this bunch of bushes I slammed on my breaks, almost having the girlfriend rear end me, but the tree to the right in the picture made it a snap shot view of the deer as I passed and I didn't want to miss it. Very Happy

I pointed out the deer, at first it was a little to the right of the red circle but by the time I took the picture it went there. It was in front of us in those bushes for a couple of minutes but didn't manage to get a better shot of it. Should have been video taping instead of trying to take pictures with my phone.

Still about 20-25 bikers had passed that spot just before me, and didn't notice it and when I and the girlfriend were looking another half dozen passed without noticing.

It was not till the deer decided to turn around towards the left of the trees and jump in front of the trail running to the more "private" wood line about 150 yards from the trail on the other side of the trail where it was. That people actually noticed there was a little doe in the woods.

My hunting skills are apparently tuned, but can't hunt deer this time of year, nor in public parks in the city but none the less I was glad I saw the deer in time. Very Happy

Nah I knew where it was due to taking the picture myself and being able to see it when I went backwards on the trail abit at that spot just before it ran off. Very Happy

Hey now my picture taking abilities might be the worst in the group (cell phone takes about 7 seconds to focus and beeps when it does hence why the deer moved) but my hunting instincts are just fine I got witnesses. ROFL

And they got pink eyes too, Stovey...

7 seconds? And beeps. Is that before it's focus or when it is ready ?

Anybody know where I can get a cell phone that is JUST a "cell phone"?? (I have a camera)

It beeps when it starts to focus, beeps again when its focused and beeps for a 3rd time when you push the button. It is quite annoying.
