I wonder if it was possible to avoid this situation that Winchester had. Or how cheap the rights to the name to make rifles would be Laughing

Through forbearance maybe.....if that was the situation they were in, in the frist place. The name i would figure may be in the possible $100m range?

I sure hope the people at Winchester can spell better then some of you guys......!! Of course I can see now why some people used their 30-30's as "jack Handles"..... , that's possibly what it says on some 30-30 winchesters. ROFL Hiding Point

Word is that the distributors are seeing a run on Winchester 94's 70's and 1300's by the gun show dealers. Some distributors are already out of stock.

This weekend should tell the story if any of you are going to a gun show. Report back and let us know about any price increases.

Some gunshops are pulling the Winchesters off the shelf and holding them back to see what happens with prices.

Last year, the dealers couldn't sell them and now they can't get enough to sell. It sure would be a kick if Winchester turned around and said they changed their mind. Best sales figures they ever had.

I do not know if this is true but I read that a Hunting and Fishing store here in So. Cal bought out all remaining stock of the 94's. The store is Turners Outdoorsman. I only saw this one time and that seems that it would be a little expensive. Has anyone else heard anything like this?

Well I would but I haven't used it in a long time and I'm not sure if it still goes bang, (even though it looks like new) Shocked so instead of wasting your money shipping it to you, I'll put it back where I found it. Very Happy ROFL Besides I don't think they made many model 2200's, did they........?

My money wtf ......I thought i was being nice taking it off your hands since it would taint all that is good (your Marlin collection Yuck ) . But since you want me to pay shipping, yeah, you can put it back where you found it.......on top of everything else laying on a velvet pillow Haha Hiding
