nah the lack of respect is more because us dads get jailed for physically disiplining kids that step out of line. when I was growing up If I disrespected my sisters mum dad or them would put the harth brush round my butt.yip I sure learnt FAST what was/wasnt the right way to act.

Yeah and now women are definitly over protected from us men. What was called "courtin'" in my younger years is now call "stalkin'"...Lookin' at a pretty girl with a nice figure is now called "sexual harrassment"...

And this young lady suddenly wants to be our equal and get on the mats and wrestle with us...My, my, my

Yes, I agree Elvis.
When I did something wrong, my Dad let me know about it with the belt. I have 4 grown boy's and yup, I do admit I wacked them on the butt when they needed it.

Bushy, one thing that is embedded in my mind is when I did something wrong as a kid, my Dad had no qualms in making me understand what I did wrong. That is whats missing from today's society.

I hear about it on the news. I found it funny cause when I had taken grade 12 gym, it was a co-ed class and none of the guys would lay a hand on the girls, even when we were playing tackle football (the girls wanted to as they all played girls rugby).

All it meant is us guys lost by about a billion to zero each game, as every time a girl would go to tackle any of us, we'd give zero resistance as to not hurt them. Which meant they pushed us to the ground a number of times.

That's probably the best way to deal with this daft idea: Make it pointless for there to be a competition by offering no defence.
Hopefully the message got across.

Bushy Bushy Bushy,....I was talkin about mud wrestling, you gotta read it with some humor under that hat. And by the way there are men working in women's apparel and there are women working in men's apparel, don't see anything wrong with that at all. I'd adore some handsome man like you escorting me to the dressing room......could ya wear the hat too?

Cary...another reason boys don't respect girls today (my opinion) is because so many of them want to look like carnival hawkers, with the tattoos and the piercings goin on. What happens when they want to make a living for themselves? They end up in the gutter with like kind. Same for the boys. It's all gone too overboard. Lack of meaningful respect for their own bodies.

For you, Suz. I'd wear my new Stetson...

Depends on where thay put them tatoos. My daughter and my grand daughter both have tatoos, but where only their boyfriends/husbands can see them.

I'm not opposed to women with ink in the right places, but the piercings in odd places is just waaayyyy beyond me. And of course they are offended when they have to go through an airport xray or pat down.

I work in a dental office and of course they have to remove the piercings to get x-rays. The technician just about looses it when they have to be told to remove things from their mouth, and then has to look at the pierced area in the raw. It's just gross. Well yah it might look good when you're young but think about those old ladies you see with the bare mid and they have a lower back butterfly thing goin on, or the belly button sun tattoo on that over extended very stretched out post preggy stomach. Yah real pretty huh? Very carnie to me, or they look like they're just changing prison cells. Bare is prettier and the less blemished by push-pins the better. My grandma didn't have any, does yours?

Ok I shouldn't be talkin, because lots of tribes have tattoo symbolism, and they're not for cosmetic reasons but for spiritual meaning. My people and some other tribes in the same area have a very popular one called man in a maze. It looks like a maze and symbolizes life from birth to death. It is actually our tribal symbol. Very popular as a tattoo. So I made my confession but still.....I don't like the looks of them and on a pretty girl or boy it sure messes up your idea of them to see some odd tattoo......I'm gettin old I guess.

I have enough tatoos on my body by accident. Why would I want to deliberately put one on and in technicolor...??

wtf Back when I was a day or three younger, and in the military it was not allowed to have tattoo's or any distinguishing or identifiable "markings"on your person to be able to hold certain clearances.I have always held that opinion for myself-even tho I have some identifiable scars from other sources of violence. Some you just can't hide!
