I believe the sear broke, but won't know for sure until I hear back from the factory. I can't mess with it or they won't honor the warranty.

Hang in there Slim...your fella will come along...he's just holding off for the right opportunity, time and place mate.

You were right, Vince! Got a healthy doe just before sunset. It was a family group of 5 in the trees. Found a shot through the branches (thought of you Pumpkinslinger). It was quartering away. Shot entered right side 2 ribs up and exited just in front of the left shoulder. Didn't take a step. Will hunt again in the morning.

Forgot to bring the camera. I needed it too as I was going to take pics of the slug guns groups in the morning.

Saw another group of does this morning while still hunting. They were on the move. I got a shot off on one of them but must have been a miss. It is nice to end the season with this much action. Off to try a new processor with the doe I got last night. He makes great JalapeƱo and Jack Cheese sausage!

Took a nice antlerless buck at 219 yards with my Knight "Wolverine". My load was 100 grains of 777 3f and a Parker 275 gr Ballistic Extreme. Knocked him down where he stood, but he got up and went 10 yd before he stopped. His hanging weight is 124lbs. I took a picture in the timber where he stopped, but I lost the photo. I can get a pic of him hanging, but a skinned carcass is not real attractive to some folks!!!
