Now that you mention the dying rabbit calls, I saw a TV program recently where they were hunting bears by calling them in with varmint calls. It looked like it would be some fast action and a lot of fun! I guess my .45-70 really is a "varmint gun"!

Be ready for some heart-stopping action. They often come in hot, in full "predator mode". Don't forget to look behind you.

I have been meaning to. Looking for work has kept me busier than working. I'll try to get a batch of bear photos up this week.

OK, slim, I sorted through the last (two months) of my photos. I checked my files from the past year and have over 2,500 trailcam photos. I have narrowed my favorite ones down to a few folders totalling about 875 pictures.
It will take me a while to pick through these and get a reasonable enough number to post. I did locate an interesting sequence of a dozen pics showing the big boar black bear begging the large female to mate. I will try to upload these to a folder.
If that works out OK, I'll post a second folder with a selection of black bear pics.
Also available:
Many more bear photos, whitetail deer, raccoon, red fox, a couple of coyote shots, a couple of a fisher cat, feral house cats, flying squirrels, grey squirrels, turkeys, my hounds and a few more odds and ends to choose from.
I'll try to pick out a few as time permits. Anything you are especially interested in?

It all sounds interesting and worth viewing. A few would be more than nice so don't spend too much time in the selection process. Sounds like you have some great land!

Just a really small plot of land - 7 acres - but in an ideal location.
