Alyosis is kind enough to share his photos with me and I asked him if I could post some on here (he has a hard time figuring out the process) he has some difficulty speaking English and all the usual excuses for being a numbskull. Oh he's a sweetie and loves a tease....any way here's some of them. He has a friend that is a taxidermist and one that is a knife maker and these photos represent some of their work. Alyosis is in one of the photos, he'll have to tell us which person he is.

Always nice to get a helping hand from such a nice woman...
why did I expect to see a picture from a boy with a long nose? Smile

And to the pictures:
- the elephant is not real, it's some piece of art in polyester
- these pictures are taken at the opening of my friends new workshop. My friend Fillip is a hobby-knifemaker (Google: Deviantblades). He's going to share this shop with his sister Mieke, who's taxidermist (Google: Taxidermieke).

And Suz: thanks for the nice words...
but they fit most of the nuts around here.

Suz, thanks for posting his pictures.

Ok, Aloys. Are you standing next to the zebra, stag, or microwave oven?

Inquiring minds want to know!

I'm not Flip's mother, nor am I Marijke, who is the best belgian female allround shooter, nor her husband Rik standing in the middle... and with exception of Flip's mother, everyone showed on that picture is a hunter... so let's keep it simple and take the oldest hunter Smile

And all credits for these pictures go to another friend-shooter-hunter, Friedrich. But better not put his picture here because somebody might think "Kaiser Wilhelm" did return...

Your friends are very talented Aloys. I really like the "roaring" buck and the cat behind him, and those knives are magnificent mate.

Sure is good to know I'm not the only "ol' fart" on here.

Nice heads and nice knives...

Thanks Suz. Just knew you were good for something...

When you are a "curmudgeon" you have certain standards to uphold. One is attitude. and that's one thing I got. Attitude....It's hard to be a curmudgeon...A good one at any rate.

Besides...What do I have to lose? She's too young for me... Laughing
