Godammit I'm getting sick of floods and earthquakes, we have had 5 swarms of Magnitude 2 - 4 earthquakes in the last 2 weeks up to 15 quakes in each storm and about 1/2 hours apart each quake, top that off with about 12 inches of rain in the last month; 3 flooding events and I'm lookin at moving away from the "Sunny Eastern Bay". Anyone else got a NZ suggestion - sorry can't emmigrate at this point too old and too stuck in my ways - Radar

You live in the land of the long white cloud,
I thought you would be used to rain.
I've always heard that in NZ if you can't see the mountains, its raining.
If you can see them then its not raining.

Well, just sit back and listen to the jazz music..

TIKKAT3 you got it nearly right. if you cant see the hill its raining and if you can see the hill it will rain again soon!!! Radar its the price we pays for living in godzone its great down here in the south but I still think of Taumarunui as home. Im sure the rain will stop soon just think how fat the trout will be getting eating all those worms and the ducks will be happy too.

I'm with ya on the EQ's. No likey. I don't relish the thought of being found dead in the bath, soaped up and naked.
What's "rain"?
