reminds me of the bucket brigade in Klamath Falls, OR a few years back.... local news anchor asked why should the people worry about the farmers having water to grow their crops?? I mean they have Safeway (a grocery chain in the North West)

I walk about a block to work every day from our parking lot. Our city has a slogan to try and promote mass transit. It goes like:
I walk,
I ride,
I am.
Some funny person turned the period into a coma and wrote a final line to the sign... "Poor". It always cracks me up when I pass it

Well, yeah!
We should all stop killing animals for meat, its not like we could not buy meat from the supermarket!
Hell, just the other day I saw the butcher took out meat from his freezer..
We should all get meat producing freezer like that ..
I know a butcher, I'll ask him..

Despite this being a rural area, I have talked to people who didn't actually realise meat came from animals.
Either our education system is broken or they are.
Or both.
