The summation of magnitude of forces about point D = 0

=Ay(6ft) - (4klb)(6ft) + (6klb)(2ft)
=Ay(6ft) - 24klbft + 12klbft / 6ft
Ay = -2klb

Summation M @ A = Fy(6ft) - (4klb)(6ft) - (6klb)(4ft)
=Fy(6ft) - 24klbft - 24klbft / 6ft
=Fy - 8klb
Fy=8klb

Yuck Nuts Bonk Lame Yuck Nuts Lame Bonk Nuts Yuck

Using Google as a language interpreter

Ay
- Assessment Year (Income Tax (IT) jargon
- was the penultimate Pharaoh of Ancient Egypt's 18th dynasty
- means moon in the 1911 Encyclopædia Britannica
- a Whole New Social Experience – AnonymousYou @ AY.com
- a French word usually used with following me to express sorrow or regret

Fy
- Fiscal Year
- Financial Year
- full-year
- You are an @##hole and someone wanted to say. $*#& YOU. to you in a big way. (words changed to protect the innocent)

Too much “stress” for me!

but how do you get from -8klb to 8klb?

0 = Fy - 8klb

So substitution by 8klb a positive or by moving the number to the other side

8klb = Fy

Otherwise by moving Fy over you get

-Fy = -8klb

Therefor you remove the negative signs by multiplying by negative one on both sides.

Guys and Gal,

I had a physics exam today I walked in with 89% but something tells me I screwed this one up after doing it. Hence stressing out last night and this post.

By the way Ay = Point A in the Y axis and Fy is equal to the Y axis force on the point F. Both points on a truss.

And no had not had issues with the tooth for a long while.
