Anyone out there have any recommended loads that cycle well and have good accuracy? Also any advice about the do's and don't's would be appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to Hunting Nut !!! Howdy

My dad has a 760 in a 6mm Remington that has served him well over many years !!!
He never found it to be fussy or particular about the loads he used in it nor did he ever experience feed related troubles.
Using a standard FL sizing die I don’t foresee any reason as to why you can’t load it as you would a bolt gun. He did !!!

I agree, load them up as you normally would. Resize, trim, prime, load and go hunting. Take care...

for my old 760 '06 (which may have a minimal chamber size) I use a small base RCBS die. reduces case life somewhat, and I still cycle all the rounda through the rifle first before hunting with them. oh. and NEVER load max, failure to extract just as bad as failure to chamber. BTDT both ways.

Did you find it necessary to use the small base dies or was that of your own choice ???

Most 760's I've been around didn't seem to be fussy about what they were feed !!!

221,difficult chambering may have been the result of a max FL die AND a minium chamber. anyhow, the SB FL die took care of the difficulty. "works for me"
