First, welcome to the site, drag up a stump, have a seat and open a cool drink.

I have no experiance with the scope at all. I did find the following site:

www.opticsplanet.net/b...-9x40.html

Without any direct experiance I can not say yea or ney, but do look at the prices. One might fall back to the old saying; "You get what you pay for."

I mean if they are less than half the price of a new Bushnell they can not be much. I do see one thing, they ae 3 piece tubes, the bells are soldered to the body. All good quality scopes are one piece.
Best,
Ed

I’m not familiar with Brunton but here is some general info on scopes!!!

Buy the best you can afford, you won’t regret it.
Good glass and repeatability is what drives the cost of a scope up.
Not all glass coatings are the same. Some single lens coatings are better than the multi coatings in the cheaper scopes. Don’t assume just because its multi coated its better.
Repeatability and tracking in cheaper scopes can be very disappointing.
If you have the need to constantly change the power setting or use multiple loads in your rifle consider spending more money.
Just because turrets are positive click it does not make them repeatable.

Brunton is alright for a pair of cheaper bino's not sure if I'd buy them for a rifle scope.
