Dang you Vince. Some how you can make me cry with this thread. I don't cry, ok except when mad and I want to hit something.
My Uncle, dad's oldest brother, used to drive truck. In California the biggest is 2 trialers, but I think back east is 3.
Hope you can get your life back to normal now.

Thanks guys...its great to be back...in more ways than one.
Grief is a strange thing...I think our Maker planned things this way so that the grieving process is as much a healing process. I have cried more in the past 2 weeks that I can ever remember in my lifetime, but I can see now that it was for the better. I'll miss Steve, he was like a son, but after all of the crying I am left with good memories. I will never forget Steve, and neither should I. I intend to ensure that his three sons never forget him as well.
I'm sorry Tinks...but I'm beginning to see and understand now that the crying shows how much someone means to us, and after the tears come the good memories. That part I don't apologise for mate...you deserve those memories.
Tell ya what though Tinks...you guys on here bring a tear to my eye. I'm very proud to call each and every one of you mate, brother or sister. I love youse all.
Gidday Gelan...yeah, I know mate, but I couldn't help myself...I had to show everyone them BA trucks that we encountered along the drive.
Cheers, Vince

Vince,
Glad to see you are home getting some well-deserved rest. Make time to relax a little, and clear your head some, spend some time alone. We all are saying our prayer for you and your family traject loss. Steve memories are many and great, and reflex on the good times you shared with him. Keep in touch guy. We miss your upbeat sprite and humor around here. BR always James

Vince,
As you know, I am a Befriender for the sick and dying, and have lost more folks the last few years than I care to count.
The one constant in these losing these fine people, is the unmistakable Presence of the Holy Spirit just before they leave this world.
Every person--Every time--
Just remember that the Holy Spirit will guide You and Your Family in the times ahead.
You are not alone.
God Bless,
Eric

Hey, Vince:
Words are just not adequate for the situation.
But, my condolences, and prayers will be offered.
Just remember, and tell your daughter and grandsons that death is not final.

Yes they did catch him. It was his 4th dui, 3rd time causing an accident. Someone followed the worthless piece of $#!+ to another bar and told the Sherrif where he was.
We pray that your son in-law has accepted Christ as his Lord and saviour and is in a better place.
Like Ely said, his spirit lives on because we are only here on Earth for a short time and now he has gone home to live forever with the Lord.
