|
So I was looking at this leather ammo pouch I got last weekend. And thinking that I don't have a thick belt that is not wider then the cut outs on the pouch (more then 1 7/8", the belts I have are 2" or 2 1/4") and I started to think.
I then remembered I had the 2 straps meant to be used to strap my Gerber onto your leg when diving and how I could modify them to suit. After some cutting with said knife, and alittle use of a lighter I came up with this.
What do you think?

Looks good D.
Don't listed to tikk.
You have your priorities right where they belong Dimitri.
If it keeps you single like it did for me until I was 35, you will be much happier, and richer than going out looking for an anchor----I mean girl friend---

I'm not sure how hard that is Joe, any similar to having to be the go between your 2 parents after they separate because they didn't want to talk to each other about anything?
Anyways if I was another kind of guy I'd suggest that I'd stay single, date any decent women that came along and never worry about marriage or kids. But I want a couple of rug rats of my own in time.
However it will be a while before I am willing to marry a girl I know, there is one possible but I need to spend more time with her and not rush into it. Otherwise if that doesn't work out I'm back at square one without any leads for a future wife.

D,
I knew my current and only wife for about a week before I asked her to marry me. This year makes 39 very very happy years together, I cannot think of spending a day without her.
Time is not all it's cracked up to be, it's either right or it's not.

Usually if you dig long enough you will always find what you don't like about your partner.
It is whether you can ignore the dislike and focus on the likes that make a marriage works.
I think this thread been hijacked too
So umm.. D, what is the belt for?
walk in the bush or just a daily utility type?

lesterg3,
I don't really believe in love, or all that other nonsense. I believe 2 people who are willing to make it work is what makes it work. And although I normally judge people within 5 minutes of first meeting them, I need alittle more time to make sure I'm going about the girl the right way.
Gelan,
I generally don't carry a knife that big on me on a daily basis. Unless I am outdoors ofcourse.

D.--You never know how bad you dress, or how stupid you are until you get married.
Right after "I do" you become an absolute idiot.
I wouldn't trade being married for anything, but for the life of me, I don't know how I managed until my Wife was able to do my thinking for me.

Wife doing the thinking Eric?
My future wife can do the talking, but when I made up my mind, I do it without asking for permission so her doing the thinking as well may not work out so well.

About a year after I got married, I asked all my "old" married friends why they never warned me that I'd never be correct again.
Listen very closely and heed the warnings Young D, Eric KNOWS what he's talking about.
