Well here it is, the best I have ever shot. I sighted in the gun with the first 6 rounds of a new load that I'm trying, so that only left me with 4 rounds to group. The temp was 55 degrees, small amount of wind, range of 225 yards taken with a Leupold RX-IV from the target to the bench. Anyway, here's the info:

Ruger KM77VT 220 swift with Leupold 12x scope
Remington brass, CCI NO. 200 primers
40.1 gr IMR 4350, Hornady 55gr V-max

I hope so. I have tried 4 different bullet brands in it, 3 different powders, and an ungodly combination of all of the above listed. I'm sure people have struggled even more trying to find a perfect load though. I have slaved away at it as much as time allows. My only downfall is that the range I have in my backyard is only 40 yards. I need to go somewhere else to shoot longer distances. Since Michigan doesn't have a lot of flat areas that are publically owned, and the gun ranges only have at most 100 yards, finding a place to shoot has actually been the biggest challenge.

Well done Cody...looks like you have that load sorted out nicely...you have achieved mate. Now all you gotta remember is...If it ain't broke, then don't fix it...in other words...leave that load alone...don't change it mate...it works.

Cheers, Vince
