Smart move. Just be sure to give a few of them away to people you just met at the range and at hunting/firearm shows.

With a slow economy and fear of restricitons I have made some great deals lately. I just picked up 3 shotguns tonight and had them all resold before I reached home.

I went to a gun show today and people were still lined up outside the door for a quarter of a block waiting to get in at 11:00a.m.!!!!!! Needless to say the dealers were doing a land office business!!!!!! My buddy and I just bought components, but still we laid out some cash.

Looks like more people will be "clinging to their guns". Went to one of the gun shops to pick up a shell holder for my press. There were two cars parked outside with obama stickers on the bumpers...Nice..  ..Place was crowded...The parking lot serves only the gun shop...

I went to renew my CCL yesterday, and the woman at my credit union who was notarizing my application (they are making it more difficult each year) asked if I had tried to buy ammo lately. I just smiled and told her I didn't need to.
Maybe I will pick up another can or two of powder, though.  |
