An F-Class TR shooter. Would be happy to test it's long range applicability.

I'm working on the principle that it'll be ready when it's ready.
I'm too laid back to be impatient.
I just want to say how much I appreciate the time & effort you're expending on this Dallan.

As for myself, I will repeat my offer to beta test... but I must state:
I probably don't have the ability to wring out every possible way to mess up.
That said, I can test it on
Win2K, WinXP, maybe Win-Vista, and Linux/Wine emulation of WinXP.
Those are hardware implementations. I also can do virtual box machines for other OS's if you really want to test on Win95 or Win98. I can't / won't run them on a real machine anymore, but could do a virtual machine if it's really important.
I have both networked and local printing facilities (mostly networked).
[Dr. McCoy voice:]
I'm a chemist, not a software engineer [/Dr. McCoy voice], but as part of my daytime job I do develop software and debug Windows applications. So I do know how to trace back errors.
But to be honest, I don't know if I'll have time to do a _REALLY_ THOROUGH_ ring out of all the possible ways to go wrong (which I tend to discover naturally, given enough time).
So feel free to let me know if you want me to test it. As we say in south LA, I guarantee, I'm highly motivated to use and get this app perfected.
And as always, you have my deepest thanks and best wishes!
Albert

Dallan,
Great news! Would love to have a chance to help work any kinks out. I have a lot of data that I could convert/throw at it. Great idea having it auto update. With a feature like that it just makes me even more excited to see what you've done with it.
Thanks for all the effort, time, and hard work.

Thanks for all your effort and time you put into this program. its a great privilege to have.

Hi Ripper,
We are still in the testing phase checking each part of the program for proper function and working out the bugs found.
Progress is being made and there is no prospective date for the release of v2.0. Status is the same, when Dallen likes how it is working he will release it. Also keep in mind he has a real job and this is his off hours project and as always his job and family come first.
Stick with us because we will get-er-done.
Safe shooting,
Chris

Hi,
Big fan of Point Blank v1.8a. Any chance of an update on progress? Seems pretty quiet last 4 months or so.
Anyway, eagerly anticipating the new version. :=)

I havent had time to work on it for a while now. My company was merged into another company and they've been throwing me on the biggest "fires" that have cropped up.
On top of that we are trying to sell our house to move into a little nicer house that is for sale just down the road. Busy is an understatement.
I really hope to make a big push on it soon and get an initial release done... with the new auto-updater, fixes can be released as any unknown bugs are discovered and addressed.

Thanks for the reply. I've been waiting this long. It's not like the old version doesn't work. It still works great. Hope the move and the job works out to your liking.
I'll go back to lurking... :-)

What new bells and whistles is the new and improved version going to have? What will be improved upon?
