Just my opinions but...

Honestly, I dont think Americans will ever be disarmed by any sort of "legal action". What I want to avoid is the fighting that would occur if someone tried.

Piss on the UN. Who could they send to disarm the American people? Any attempt to disarm us forceably by a foreign power would be met with overwhelming resistance. Every redneck in the country would be taking potshots at blue helmets. Again, I would prefer to avoid that though.

The UN wouldn't come in to disarm the people mate....they simply get the standing Government of the country concerned to become a signatory to their plan then leave it up to the Govt to disarm their people via legislation.

Well, I don't consider myself a redneck, but I will always have guns to defend myself with. If the gov't makes it illegal then I guess I will be a crook. The constitution is my law and if they try to change that I will just have to decide if I will join the revolution or move.

I just heard on The Factor that the Chicago Tribune says the Second Amendment should be repealed.
Anybody around here from the Peoples Republic of Chicago???

PaulS,

I don't consider myself a redneck either, however, I do believe that I share lots of the same beliefs. Mainly independence and the desire for the government to leave us alone. I don't have a mean bone in my body, but if pushed, I can be one of the meanest son-of-a-guns in South Texas.

The problem with some of this thinking is, the powers that be have resources beyond what most people consider. They have more money than the women of America could spend buying shoes in 100 years. They have some of the smartest people in the world working together in think tanks (who already have multiple plans in place to deal with gun-wielding rednecks like us). They have military and technological resources most Americans don't know about yet or even suspect exists. And first and foremost, they have the resolve to win (losing is not in their mindset). And they are not going to play by the rules many of us think they will play by.

I for one, would like to see 10 million conservatives band together to change things in the business world. Because, if corporate boardrooms are compelled to change, then politicians will follow right along....even all those bums in WashingtonFullofTraitors&Bums&Morons.

This is a proactive plan. Get 10 million Americans to join AFA's boycott of McDonalds. Watch McDonald's stock drop (while I am shorting it and making a little money), and then watch institutional shareholders react (AFA's boycott of Ford had that very effect). But, don't stop there, join AFA's boycott of General Motors (all for the identical reason as the McDonald's boycott), but unlike the AFA which is requiring McDonalds and GM to simply take a neutral stance in the culture war, compel both companies to remove their current executives in charge (sort of a shot across the bow to other corporate executives who may be considering doing something other than staying neutral in the culture wars). In fact, and provided it is legal, why shouldn't those 10 million Americans require some sort of remuneration for the inconvenience necessitated by the actions of McDonalds, Ford and GM. How does, say, $30 Billion sound (or whatever the market will bear)? All, provided it is legal to do so.

Taking this country back is going to take intelligent ideas and plans. And enough willing and DETERMINED Americans to adopt and practice them, that a simple DETERMINED minority will have such a huge impact that the powers that be will even be surprised. The folks who do the thinking for the powers that be are really no smarter than anyone else. Unfortunately, right now they have the leisure of playing in a game where they have no opponent............YET! And its probably doing to be up to us OLD GUYS to kick something like this off.

Nice to find a good group of conservative-thinking men in this world.

Problem with your plan Clique, you WONT get 10 million willing to work toward your "end" , and I'm pretty sure it'd be illegal.....

HunterJoe21,

I don't think it would be illegal, at least the part concerning the boycotts, so that part is legit. Several groups are already doing it. The making money part I'm not sure about. Having not posed it to an attorney, I don't know yet. I can imagine liberals will consider it illegal, just like many of them consider a cross around one's neck to be illegal...ooops...hope I didn't give them another thing to gripe about.

I understand why you say that about not getting 10 million to go along. Ignorance and especially apathy, are the two things working against it. But, if we are going to have a chance of saving the good ole USA, we have to start thinking new ideas and trying new things. Something strategic is the only thing I can think of that will work. Send a few CEOs home to retirement....

My opinion about 10 million is the same, at least what I believe about the American people. But, if we don't try new things, or too easily become dissuaded by negativity, then we've conceded before we even begin. So, the wall gets built one brick at a time. This is grassroots, apolitical, stuff, and I like the latter part as there's just so much less chance campaign finance laws will play any role at all (government oversight). Not that the powers that be won't try and make the case.

But 10 million is easier than 20 or 30 million.

Plus, the political system is simply owned by the powers that be. Small folks aren't going to break that hold. But stirring up major corporations might just do it.

I'm not dissuaded in the least. I didn't invent two professions and start 3 businesses with no competitors, to be put off very easily! HaHaHa!

Thank you Mr OntheLasGallinas & Mrvint2 also.

God Bless You All,
