Welcome to this fine site, Markstone. Though I aplaud your thoughts on the future president you may want to change your mind, because if you and many others don't, McCain will not stand a chance in hell to get elected and you and everyone else will be stuck with hitlary or obomination...You decide...
I will hold my nose and vote for McCain...

All three of 'em have the mindset that the Constitution should be a fluid document... to be changed from time to time "to keep up with the times". McCain has even gone as far to prove it with "McCain- Fiengold" and last years amnesty debacle. I'm a Conservative Republican and he's a liberal Republican. Any of the three could put this country in the crapper in four years time... half tempted to let the dem's take the blame for it......
You're right though, in the end I'll probably hold my nose and give the guy my vote.
It's just that I'm getting really sick and tired of my nose being sore because of the same hand that pushes the "vote" button

Welcome aboard, Markstone!! When I go to the primaries and a conservative hardly gets a vote I am convinced that we need a REAL conservative party to field a conservative candidate. I have been with the Republicans for a long time, but will register as independent until I can find true conservatism in a political party.
Young Mr. Manly writes an excellent article, but it is the young people who were hoodwinked in the primaries and gave Obama his Iowa win! This is scary as hell!!!!

Vint2,
You got that right. I've always said that the sheep people are the ones that are easily led astray. The remainder of the people that vote for the Democrat Socialists have no conviction in life, relating to freedom, family, and national pride.

I was watching O'Reilly interview McCain last night about immigration, border fences, tax cuts, the war, etc. There were only two points that I agreed with McCain on. I believe we need to build that darn fence, now, and I believe that we should give the on-going war everything we got, and if need be, blow the shit out of them. McCain's position on everything else was par with the socialist's Clinton and Obama. This interview darn near made me crazy!!! I'll vote for him, but I may take the clothes pin off of my nose and replace it with Vice Grips, to make sure it don't fall off when I'm checking off the ballot.

I hate to say it guys, but if Hillary would have won the Democrat nomination, she just might have gotten my vote.
For some reason, I just can't get excited about McCain either.
I even think that Hillary would have been tougher on the Arabs than McCain also.

Eric, having talked to someone who worked with Hillary in DC I couldn't possibly vote for her. She showed NO respect for anyone; Secret Service, military, aids, etc. If she can't show them some respect then she sure as hell won't be showing us any either.
McCain isn't the best candidate we could hope for, he just beats the other choices hands down!
