Guys come on down here to Florida. There are gators everywhere. There is one that is almost as long as my 16 ft bassboat. I see gators everytime I go fishing. They are easy to see at night cause their eyes glow red in a spotlight.

There is only one way I will ever hunt a "snappin' log"....with a high powered rifle, loaded with AP at the very least and from a tree stand. That way, if I don't hit him clean and make him real angry then he can't get to work on me with his chewin' gear. Very Happy

As for AP I don't think it would work, may just make pencil sized holds in the animal, FMJ will probably work better. Laughing

I've seen it done on TV Dan, and it looks like a lot of fun--until they get the big guy or gal into the boat.
They kill it before it gets to that point, but if I were in the boat the darn think would go for one last meal of Eric before it kicked the bucket.

Any recommendations on waterproofing a videocam?

I'm pretty easy going with critters that can do me a mischief...or can open up a can of whoop a$$...but crocs and gators just sorta earn my respect....from a LONG way away. Very Happy
