Hospitals are for sick people..... They will not let you go until you change to pills for the pain and visit the can..... How long were you down before you were up and walking?

Glad to know you are still on the green side.

I had to go for my first walk Sunday AM. I went to the nurses station(50yds) and back draging my IV and holding my dress shut. Now im up to the length of the ward on one side. Each floor is a big circle.
Its time to eat my food now. All 5 oz of it. Mad
This AM my chest throbed like you would not believe. The pain meds took forever to kick in. Sad

Crackshot, It has been my experience that you just can't get well in a hospital! People just won't leave you alone... The sooner you get home, the faster the healing begins. I do everything the doctor says so I can get the H.... out of there. I always find it hard but I know I have to do it to get out of the hospital to get home! I'm still with you buddy and I am happy to see that God answered all of our prayers.

I reiterate what 204shooter says Crackster....."We're still with you buddy and I am happy to see that God answered all of our prayers."

Do everything they tell ya mate, and grab the first opportunity to get outa the "horsepiddle". As 204 says.....you heal better and faster at home. Additionally, there is a lot less chance of you picking up an infection like goldern staph at home.

Cheers, Vince

I've dusted off the Ruger 1022's and AR 223's, But its probably gonna be a week or so before the wife will let me out of her sight. She is useing her 2 weeks of vacation to watch over me. Crying or Very sad
But it still hurts like the blazes when I bend or slouch, So I cant see me bending over a rifle @ the benches @ the club yet any way.

Everything the dock says. Yer brestbone is wired together. It is one of the few bones in the body that does not mend itself. Eventually you will feel OK, it just takes a little bit of time. Being home is just great, I know.

I have a buddy that hunts buffs in Africa every year. He shoots a 416, so you should get to the ability to handle the big stuff as long as the doc did the wire up job correctly. It has been two years and I shoot my 458 Lott.

For those that are not married, they haven't a clue how great a good caring woman can be...
