Shot prairie dogs with my sons 20 ga. shotgun two weeks ago. It was windy and we were waiting to setup for the wind to die down. I took a poke at one from the truck, got it, shot two more in the next five minutes. It doesn't have the dramatic effect that a 52 gr. bullet traveling at 4200 fps has but it does roll them.

Does a 222 R count as a wierd caliber? I use it to shoot catfish pond turtles. Until I get bored.
Do you know how to make turtle rain? Shoot a turtle in the pond with a 200 gr bullet from a 350 Rem Mag. It rains bits of turtle all over the pond. My catfish farmer likes turtle rain, a lot.
