My local gunshop just got a ton of this stuff in... lots of different types. Hes never heard of it before reciently. Anyone ever use this stuff? Anyone have reloading info for it?
I'm always curious about new things. Perhaps its been around for a while and I never noticed... but I know its new to my local store.

Huh... did a tad of research (shoulda done the research first before posting! LOL) and found out Ramshot bought AccuratePowder company. Very interesting. Accurate MR223 was a favorite of mine in my .22-250.
I'm a tad alarmed in their press release they state they are proof reading their load data for accuracy, then misprint the date the new data will be available though...

Like you I have not used it because I have not seen it in my part of Georgia. I have requested and promptly received a reloading guide from them. Ramshot and Accurate will maintain their seperate lines of powder though owned by Ramshot.
Ramshot has a following in the matches but until it hits the shelf near me I will continue to use whats available.

I've used lots of Ramshot powders, X-term, TAC are both great in .223. TAC is good in .308. I heard / read somewhere that Blackhills uses Ramshot in their loads. All their powders meter like BLC-2 or H 380 and they burn clean. I have also used Enforcer in .357 and .45 Colt / Ruger loads. If you can find it I'd suggest giving it a try.

Where did you get your load info for it? I have yet to find any, not even the stores selling Ramshot have reloading info on it.

Dallan,
Go to the Ramshot website and order a reloading guide. It covers all of their powders and a respectable range of calibers (not all). It took about a week for the guide to arrive after I ordered it throught the website.
Chris
There is more information at this link. Just email them and ask for a guide. There is an online reloading guide at the link too.

I use tac in my 7mm-08,308, and am gonna try it in the 260! A brand worth trying:o), this is a ball powder so metering is wonderful, a friend of mine uses magnum and hunter and he loves it. he just bought a pound of xterminator to try in his mini 30. Give it a shot!!(no pun intended)!

I use Ramshot Hunter in my 300WSM and 30-06. I use Ramshot BigGame in my 7MM-08 and 9.3X62. All of my Ramshot loads are tops in the velocity dept. and accuracy is sub MOA. I just got done working up loads for my 7.62x39 using Ramshot X-Terminator, again excellent velocity and accuracy. That makes Ramshot my choice of powder in 5 out of 5 rifles, great stuff.
Here is some load data links.

Like others, I have used Ramshot TAC for loads in my .223. Another plus for Ramshot is that it is usually a buck or two cheaper than other powders. As its popularity grows, like anything else, I'm sure the price will too!

Barnes bullets did a test on consistency and temp sensitivity using different powders and one of them was ramshot magnum. Here is the link.
www.barnesbullets.com/...-bullet-n/
Scroll almost half way down till you see "From The Lab" And while your looking, check out Fig 3 with the 308win TTSX loads. When using Imr 4320, pressure is more at -40 than 120 degrees using the same load!!
My shooting buddy swears by this powder for heavy magnums and sold me a pound to try out.
