A fresh image from this morning....
May the Good Lord forgive us for skippin' Church........again.
Had a hundred Federal brass to unload for the Boys rifle.
Factory loads, needed to stuff 'em with 85 grain X's.
On going prep for his Blue Ridge Mountain Deer Debut in November....
He's 12 now and of legal age....and plenty serious about our planned trip south.
Gave the Boy the fair option of swingin' the bullet pullin' hammer...I did I swear.
Guess he din't want to go that route............

Have spent a fair number of Sunday mornings in church and can't hold it against those who seek Fellowship there....
I tend to agree with myself that the Tribe and I reside in God's Country and can know that I'm a whole lot closer to my Maker in the Outdoors, every day, than in a stuffy room full of judgemental old women and their lyin' cheatin' old men, once a week....
I Believe in my own way and can be happy doing that.....................

well let me chime in with the rest, good lookin bunch you got there, 'cept for that big hairy lookin thing, reminded me a lil of bigfoot... hahah secondly whichever god you pray to sees you no matter where you are, and he sees you were out with the kids, so he is more pleased with that than you sitting inside some building... well done!

I'm right purty if ya ask me......grins.
That said, it's a clear distinction that I've nary an ugly pup in bunch and they no doubt got all their good looks from their beautiful Mamma.
They got me temper sure........must be the Irish/Highland Scot blood in 'em.
Have seen the boys fistfight over a second helpin' of Game Meat........the little one is the one to watch out for.
The Boy did well shootin' today with many groups on paper well within tolerance....all done less a shootin' bench and hardly any of my supervision.
He's a Safety Pro...........
Busted a mess of water jugs as well, as far out as I'll let him kill a deer.
I can't recall him doing anything that could be construed as a miss.
He do shoot well pretty good..........................

His kids look good too, but there seems to be a bit of a gap between his eldest daughter (seen in the boat) and the rest of the kids. Maybe one day wildswalker will show us a pic of his missus so we can see where the kids get their good looks from. |
She's my youngest step daughter, there's another, and there's my oldest daughter missing from that pic. They're both out and about one's married and the other....well, she's just.....my daughter.
The wife is shy so I'll hafta work on a that...................
