I cast bullets for six different rifles, and I have yet to find a single mould of the bore riding nose style that will shoot with my old Lovern design moulds. Close, but not as well. Yes, I have tried Beagleing them, lapping them and everything else I can think of but the Lovern design always wins. My question is, Why don’t anyone produce that style any more? I know the grease groves stick up past the brass, so what? Seams to me Lyman, RCBS, and Saeco are missing a lot of sales here !

Hm, not familiar with the Lovern design moulds. Will have to check them out. What is "Beagleing"? Can't work that one out.

Cheers, Vince
