When you study your family line, it is amazing that had just one person not been there at the right time, neither would you. In this case, an Indian woman gave up her child and a good hearted AS family took the child to raise as their own. And 200 years later, here I am.

My oldest brother traced our genealogy, at least the European aspects back to 14th century England, Ireland, Scotland and France. Every branch of the family. The downside can sometimes be finding out how many a##holes are hanging off the family tree Very Happy Very Happy I had one ancestor who was beheaded by the king of England way back when (on the wrong side in some kind of royal rumble) and the more I read about the guy the more I agreed with the king's decision., but it is way cool just to find that stuff out.

And here we both are SwampFox and dang glad to have ya' amongst us Cheers now be a good lad and pick up the next round Very Happy Very Happy

Glad to hear that you are OK Tracker.
I always wanted my Nieces and Nephews to marry Native Americans here in Minnesota.
They were stupid and didn't. Crying or Very sad {Sorry Daren} wtf
Now I am working on my Daughter and two Sons to marry correctly.
Native Americans are great folks, with lots of hunting and fishing land that the old Dad-In-Law can have fun on. Very Happy

They can have the Honeymoon Dimitri, I will take the Grandchildren hunting and fishing.
Lots of Ducks, and then I'll check my gill nets after.
I own 300' of nets that would come in handy.

My...He must have been old to be in a hospital...

Same as Bushy.....I didn't realise you were crook (not a crook) Tracks. Shocked

Mate, hope you are well now and out chasin' them critters and squaws, whichever comes first.

You must have made an impression on the old guy in the bed beside you in the hospital (or is the horse-piddle?). Not very often that a stranger allows access to his property for hunting. Well done mate.

Cheers, Vince

Glad to hear you are getting better Tracker, yea it sucks to be sick but you found some postive things out of the ordeal. Sadly everyone in my house is sick but me... its no fun at all Sad

Oh, thats a bugger Dallan. Nothing worse than being the only fit and able one in a house full of sick kids. Means you become Mum, Dad, washerwoman, ironing lady, cook, dishwasher, house cleaner and also the bread winner at your normal vocation. Yep, no doubt about it....its a massive job, but one that any parents happily takes on to ensure that their family can rest up and get better.....oh yeah, and there is the other factor too....you get looked after well when you get crook mate. Very Happy

Hope the family is well soon Dallan. Nothing more upsetting than seeing your loved ones, especially little kiddies, suffering with illness. Sad

Cheers, Vince
