scarey thought you understand what i am saying aint it heheh
it is a shame though that the "upper crust" society uses thier status for thier own opinions and views and have nothing to back it up, I dont like the idea of using a full auto rifle for anything, but i am going to fight tooth and nail for you to buy and own one if you want to, the same should go for any and all hunting magazines and or gun enthusists(spelling guys). will i own one, no but i love the idea that if i wanted to i could!

Morax,
A person can own a 22LR single shot, a AK-47 with the "switch", or heck even a 40mm Bofors cannon for all I care, its a persons right to do what he/she wishs with his money and to enjoy himself, if he/she isn't commiting a crime with the firearms I belive that the goverment or anyone else has no right to stop them from ownership of it.
Cars kill more people a year then guns so lets ban cars instead of guns if we are going to ban anything, where is the common sense "its for the childern" stuff the anti's say about guns being said about cars ??

Do you think they're going to ban all of the animals from running across the road, getting hit by cars, flying through windshields, killing some of the occupants and costing us tons of money for repairs let alone the insurance rates sky-rocketing? How many people get killed every year caused by hitting animals?
How about all of the revenue from hunting licenses that'll be lost. or the number of jobs that will be lost because the firearm manufacturers can't make guns, and the trucks being used to ship them, the distributors selling them to the stores, the sporting goods sales counter people and even the stores losing money from sales. What are these fools thinking?
If they want to eliminate the crimes commited with guns then untie the police hands and eliminate ALL the gang bangers. Quit filling the prisons full of the hardened criminals at the tax payers expence. Kind of like ole' Judge Roy Bean, YOU ARE HEAR BY SENTENCED TO DEATH, SENTENCE TO BE CARRIED OUT IMMEDIATELY..........BANG, next case!!!
Ater all, according to those idiots, the animals have more rights than we do.

Morax,
Good point!
You know when I was on a school bus (not a small one but a big one this time Morax ;)) my bus got into a accident, not the drivers fault, bad weather and the school set us out early so we can get home before the bulk of the storm hit, anyways we all got thrown quite hard, from sliding to hit couldn't have been more then a few seconds, just enough to brace for impact without any seatbelts.

Glocks, 1911's, Sig's, they are all the same, you can buy them in the same calibers, and they are as reliable as each other for the most part, just need to treat the gun right and feed it good ammo and it won't complain.
What you need to do is buy a gun that fits your hand and is natural to point and aim.
I've handled (never fired) a few pistols, the one that points better for me seems to be the 1911A1 handguns.

glocks truly are not too bad of a firearm, just not my cup o coffee, thats all, 1911s i find accually a hair on the heavy side for what they are, they all do have pros and cons, i just like picking on the guys who got the glocks, cause it just fires them up when ya say fantastic plastic or something like that.. but the one i was able to fire, the glock that is was strange, it hated and downright refused to fire more than 3 rounds of factory ammo without jamming, turned around and tossed some reloaded ammo at it and just drank it right down and was looking for more.. went to the factory stuff and was jaming again!!

I think most of us get bored of talking about the same repeated lines from the anti's havn't heard a new thing really from them in along time its the same BS infromation they spread over and over agian, so its only natural for people to talk about more serious issues like why 1911's and Glocks are so popular.
