Quite a few Canadians went south during that war. Actually estimates range from 30,000-40,000 (seeing as its illegal for a Canadian to go fight in a forien war so it wasnt "documented" as much). But then agian Americans did come up the boarder in World War 1 & 2 for example. Seems like boarders didnt bother people when it came to fighting in wars.
Heck a Canadian General (Maj. Gen. Walter Natynczyk at the start now replaced by Major General Peter Devlin) is one of 2 Deputy Commanders of the US 3rd Army Corps who are incharged of the war in Iraq because of the fact US 3rd Army which was ment for North American defence in the Cold War so it has the Commander, and 2 Deputies, one Canadian deputy and one American deputy. That fact makes the Left-wing people here upset.

Don't feel bad how you feel about Hanoi Jane,
Bushmaster.{Notice that I kept your name and the traitor's name away from each other}
Somebody should have taken care of the bum a long time ago.
John Kerry, in my book reached traitor status also, with what he called the United States at a arab conference.
Hopefully, all of the liberals that have all of a sudden grown balls after the election, with get Hillary defeated in 2008.
You know, thinking about it, I would have swapped Hanoi Jane swinging from the gallows, instead of Saddam any day.

My service obligation ended just as the late unpleasantness in
Southeast Asia was heating up.
I seem to adhere to the narrow definition of treason: giving aid and comfort to the enemy. Throw in undermining the morale of troops in harm's way, demeaning in any way our servicemen, and for an elected official not to care about his/her Nation, or allowing vital national security secrets to be sold/leaked/given to an enemy. If that makes me a dinosaur, so be it.
I inadvertantly got into a tiff with a fellow on another forum when I made a reference to Jane. He has a hatred for her that approaches a mental illness. This gentleman had never served in the armed forces, but "had friends killed in Viet Nam." Most of us are in that circumstance, I think. Of course, I didn't realize at the time that nobody had issued him a sense of humor, or take into account his rather large ego. Oh, Well.
We had a person of the liberal Feminazi persuasion in our office, and she remarked, when the subject came up: "Well she (Jane) apologized!" I never quite understood how an insincere "Sorry about that!" would make up for extending a war by even one day, along with the deaths and the imprisonment of so many people, but as far as the lib was concerned, it was enough.
I could also never understand the sentiment that it was o.k. to take Eliaan Gonzales away from his U.S. family at gunpoint, and send him back to the "Worker's Paradise" of Cuba, because it was "better for him to be with his father", either. I guess I am just too old and set in my ways to be able to fathom such thinking.
They are among us, and they reproduce! Don't just boycott Ketchup. We need to find out who they are, and insure they never fall into the best paying and easiest job they could ever have, and by holding that job, can do harm to the Nation.
