Hey ya'll... I have a small collection of original, (hopefully) humorous short stories mostly about outdoor stuff.
Could I impose on you to post a couple here. Then if recieved favorably, I could add a few more.
WARNING: Some may contain references to fishing!

Awww Gee thanks for the vote of confidence Vince. I know I'm new here, but I've already seen a sense of humor from several folks here. I like that... a lot. I won't make any claims as to the quality of these yarns, only that they are original, and I'd be happy to share them.

Thanks Dimitri, got the go ahead from Dallan, as Vince suggested. Dallan graciously pointed me to the "Submit Articles" area. I've submitted one story waiting now for approval. The first story is written VERY close to the way it actually happened... after that... well some tend to get a little far fetched. I hope some of you will enjoy Uncle Burley, Lo...rayne, Cousin Scooter, Turnup the Cat and the whole gang from Tumble Creek.

Thanks for the encouragement tracker... 'course that could backfire on ya. The Ladyrum gimmie a little ... uh, 'encouragement' thutty years ago... ain't been able to run me off since!
'Uncle Slim' is up, over in the Articles thread. It's the first thing I ever put up for public viewing. As it states it is very close to an actual happening. Subsequent tales take on a little more whimsey. I'm told they are more humerous. I hope that some here will enjoy them.
Thanks again to Dallan for his support. I don't 'bleive he's near as bad as ya'll make out.

Also I messed up... I submitted to Misc. instead of 'Stories' I'll try to get Dallan to change it. Sorry for any mix up. I hope some of you will read and enjoy...........
..........caught ya'll sleepin
............an' slipped in again
It's over in Articles: Topics under Mics.

Thanks 1895ss. Hope you got a chuckle from the stories. The collection is not all geared to fishing. The gang from Tumble Creek are a purty reg'lar bunch. They like huntin' fishin' carousin' just like most of this bunch here on huntingnut.
