A lot of sporterized No.4's with the cut down forestocks have this problem. The relatively thin barrels need the forestocks to keep barrel harmonic correct. |
OK, I’ve never heard that mate, but you learn something new every day. Now to try and find the torque setting for those screws, and if there is an order that they need to be tightened…might be easier said than done methinks.

I’ve heard the same Punkin, but I don’t think (and hoping) this rifle has that problem as the mean Point of Impact doesn’t appear to alter after being set.
