I had to take my brother to the hospital last Tuesday because he was unwell. As it turned out, he tested positive to COVID-19. The nurse told me to keep an eye on my health because I am considered a close personal contact (more than 4 hours). I started to feel a bit ordinary Tuesday night and by Wednesday morning I felt like I was recovering from an autopsy. I tested negative on Wednesday, but still felt woeful, so I did another test today - Friday. Wouldn’t you know it…I tested positive for COVID-19.


It’s probably a good thing I’m not in the US right now because I’d hunt down Fauci, rip his head off and crap down his throat!! With all the deaths you guys have had in the US from COVID, I’m surprised Fauci hasn’t been taken out. I believe he has had numerous death threats.

Several of our mates and their families have been affected by this virus in one way or another, and we have also lost one of our members, DeerSniper, who passed away last year from COVID…may he Rest In Peace…an amazing gunsmith and a lovely guy, along with his wife Brenda.

Oh well, fingers crossed, after a 5 day isolation, I will be fit and well again. My major concern is my 95 year old mother-in-law who lives with us.

Well…here we go. They say immunised people should start to feel better after two days…I’m feeling worse! Sleeping anywhere between 12 and 14 hours a day, having to get up and go for a “wee” walk almost every hour (5 times last night), throat feels like it’s been wire brushed, nauseous and throwing up, no energy, can’t breathe properly (panting like a puppy dog), my whole body is aching…aching in places I never knew existed, even my nads are aching. Difficulty getting out of my chair and have to stop twice, when needing the toilet, between the rumpus room and the crapatorium. I feel like death warmed up. Fauci, you’re mine if I get the chance!!

This is definitely serious stuff, I hope you recover well.
My usual go to medicine is a lot of vitamin C and vitamin D, while I have not tested this to myself (never positive), SWMBO and the kids recovers within the week with the vitamins.

DAMN…HOW LONG DOES THIS THING LAST!!!

It’s coming up for two weeks, or just over, and I still feel like total crap. I’m loosing weight, not a bad thing, and seem to have stagnated with the virus. I’m not really getting any better, and I find that I’m slipping a little backwards each morning, I improve a little during the day, then get ready to do it all again the next day.
I spoke with my Doctor last night, and he has said another week of isolation. He also prescribed an anti-viral drug, 4 pills twice a day. Hopefully, tomorrow, I’ll be feeling better after these anti-viral pills, then I can start living again. Fingers crossed.

Not sure about Ivermectin, but I’m sure I wouldn’t be able to import any. I had an offer from a friend in MO to send me a package, but I doubt very much that it would get through Customs.

The Doctor prescribed an anti-viral medication (Molnupiravir) a few days ago, and this seems to have helped greatly. I have to take 4 “hard” capsules (each 200mg) twice a day…damn, I’m taking 17 pills a day at the moment. I’m feeling a little better each day now, so that is a good thing. I wonder how long it will take before I feel normal again?
